Sterling Vineyards

Napa Valley is famous for its wineries, and on November 24, 1999, my brother and I visited one of the more lavish vineyards. Set atop a hill and accessible via a chair lift, the Sterling Vineyards near Calistoga offers a chance to take a self-guided tour to see how wine is made, with a final stop in the tasting room. The views from the winery are spectacular.
