Clos Pegase

Not far from my brother's house is Napa Valley, home of literally dozens of wineries that are known throughout the world. On November 27, the entire family--including my parents, brother, and sister-in-law--piled into the car and went on a wine tour. Our first stop was Clos Pegase, a winery not too far from Calistoga. Tastings were a bit on the pricey side ($5.00 for whites, $7.50 for reds, and $10.00 for Cabernet Sauvignons), but the eclectic architecture and statuary were worth the stop.
