Monday, April 26: The Everglades is a lot more about wildlife and preservation than scenic beauty. The wildlife, though, is really what the attraction is. This Great White Heron is enjoying the sunshine in a pond at the Royal Palm area of Everglades National Park, not far from where some alligators prowl the swamps in search of food.
