Gator Canal

Monday, April 26: The alligators were out in force in the Royal Palm area of the Everglades, and these two alligators were just sitting in a ditch waiting for a meal. The large gator in the foreground actually got his wish--not long after I snapped this picture, he lunged and grabbed something, probably a turtle or some other animal hanging around nearby.
