US Capitol

Friday, March 3, 2006: This is the US Capitol, seen from the end of the Mall, with the Senate chambers to the left and the House chambers hidden behind the statue. What you don't see is the ridiculous number of police cars that are "guarding" the Capitol with their engines running. Rumor has it that they'll chase down anyone who makes a wrong turn. They were certainly watching me as I was walking alone!
