San Francisco

Kanazawa; Sunday, June 11, 2006: The road that went from a local train station to the waterfront in Kanazawa reminded me a lot of San Francisco. Some of the houses were absolutely huge by Japan standards--the house on the hill in particular, with its view of the ocean about a half-mile away, is certainly not standard for Japan.
