Stephen Colbert

Monday, March 3, 2008: One place I'd never been in Washington was the Smithsonian American Art Museum and National Portrait Gallery. Just across from the Spy Museum and a local Gordon Biersch brewpub, the gallery features art and sculpture featuring American themes and created by American artists. Oddly enough, as I turned the corner to go to the bathroom, this portrait of Stephen Colbert (The Colbert Report on Comedy Central) was hanging at the entrance.
