Lower Talkington

Theodore Roosevelt National Park South Unit; Monday, July 20, 2009:  Getting a chance to hike is always a good thing, and I came prepared to enjoy the park with water and maps and GPS and all the like. Even so, being able to follow a trail that in many places was unmarked is a skill you learn over time, and I'm glad I sort of knew what I was doing. This is part of the Lower Talkington Trail, which I took from the pullout on the park road back to the park road a couple of miles further up.
