Castle Trail

Badlands National Park; Friday, July 24, 2009:  The Castle Trail is the longest maintained trail in the park, and I took it for a small fraction of its length from the Saddle Pass junction to the Old Northeast Road. This is pretty typical of the views along the trail in that part of the park. And if it looks hot outside, it truly was, though at least it was a dry heat...
