Delta-09

Minuteman Missile National Historic Site; Friday, July 24, 2009:  One of the newest places in the National Park System, the Minuteman Missile National Historic Site visitor center and office is located just off Exit 131 on I-90. From there, I got directions to the “top secret” Delta-09 missile silo, which was once an active Minuteman site. This hatch is not original equipment, since the silo has been retrofitted to allow people to look inside at the missile.
