Sea Life

Washington, DC; March 9, 2011:  It wouldn't be a trip to Washington without a visit to at least one of the Smithsonian museums, and this time around I spent some time at the Museum of Natural History. This gallery featuring aquatic life was new since the last time I visited, and the giant whale overhead was stunning. Even though this sea life gallery got a lot of attention, there was a smaller exhibition on the archaeology and history of Cyprus that I thought was pretty fascinating.
