Whitefish Dunes State Park; April 16, 2013:  It had been a while since I'd last visited Whitefish Dunes, and one of the stranger features of the park is the shallow area that goes a good 50 feet into Lake Michigan. My feet didn't get wet since there were so many dry areas of rock that I could go to.
