Aztalan State Park 2002

Located about 40 miles east of Madison near Lake Mills, Aztalan State Park protects an ancient Middle Mississippian settlement. Pyramids in Wisconsin? You bet. Aztalan features two pyramid-shaped mounds, as well as several conical mounds. I visited the park on Sunday, August 25, 2002.
