Not too far from my home in Madison are a large number of places to visit and things to do. Whether it's one of the parks in the Wisconsin State Park system, or simply a trip to Milwaukee to see the Brewers, there's always something going on in Southern Wisconsin. This section of the site deals with some of these day trips; by definition, just a quick trip out and home by bedtime.

After a couple of years without day trip photos, I've started adding some new ones in 2006. It's not that I didn't go places on the weekend or after work during 2004 and 2005--I just didn't take that many photos.
