Harrington Beach State Park on Lake Michigan is a great park to visit. It's relatively flat for hiking, and boasts an incredibly long beach. On September 10, 2006, I visited this park on a somewhat cloudy and windy day, and had a nice, long hike, winding through the trails and heading along the beach.
