Devil's Lake State Park is one of the most popular parks in Wisconsin, and is conveniently located less than an hour from my home. (It's also not far from the Lake Delton office of the company I work for.) On October 3, 2006, I left our Lake Delton office and went to Devil's Lake for a quick end-of-day hike.
