Lodi Marsh - 05/07/2006

Lodi Marsh in northern Dane County is one of my favorite hiking destinations. The Ice Age Trail segment is well-marked, and the combination of marshland, steep hills, and scenic vistas makes every visit fun. On May 7, 2006, I had a couple of extra treats--a snake right in the path and a beaver that also wandered into my path.
