Lake Superior 2003

It's big, and its average temperature is only 40 degrees. To travel around it requires a journey of 1,300 miles through three states and one province in two nations. Of course, what else could it be but Lake Superior!

From May 17 through May 25, I made the journey around Lake Superior with my good friends Lisa and Michael Kilmer. Along the way we took in the sights in Minnesota, Ontario, and Michigan, and stayed in a new place every night. From the cities on the lake to small, out-of-the way places, this trip is all about adventure and the people, places, and lore surrounding the greatest of the Great Lakes.
