Thomas Pasture

This is the Thomas Pasture, part of the Barneveld Prairie State Natural Area, which is owned by The Nature Conservancy. To the right (west) of the fence line is an area that is currently in danger of development as a tract of houses; to the left, the grayish-green grass marks a well-preserved section of native prairie.
