Not surprisingly, I encountered a lot of soggy ground on my hike, and rather than continuing to an area that I knew would soak me, I decided to turn around at this vista which is rather close to County D. There are no exotic animals hiding in the grass, though who knows--there may have been a turkey around somewhere.
