Quartzite Bluffs

Starting my hike from the very crowded parking lot at the North Shore, I headed up the West Bluff Trail. In the foreground is some of the purple quartzite that makes the park so fascinating, and of course below is Devil's Lake itself. On the far shore is the South Shore picnic area.
