St. Peter's Dome

Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest; Friday, October 15, 2010:  St. Peter's Dome, also known locally as Old Baldy, is at 1,565 feet above sea level, and maybe 300 feet above the canyon floor. This is a shot looking mostly west toward a beaver pond on Canyon Creek. Just past the beaver pond is where Morgan Creek joins Canyon Creek.
