Across the Tidal Basin

Washington, DC; March 10, 2013:  With the alumni events finished on Saturday, March 9, and my flight leaving on Monday, March 11, I had Sunday to myself. The weather was beautiful, approaching 60 degrees, and to me it was a perfect day to go for a walk from Smithsonian Station to Arlington Station. My first stop was the Tidal Basin, where I took this photo of the Jefferson Memorial through the unblossomed cherry trees.
