MLK Memorial

Washington, DC; March 10, 2013:  Only about a year old, the Martin Luther King, Jr., Memorial managed to start off with controversy over one of the quotes inscribed on this enormous piece of stone. It was a relatively busy memorial, with many families having pictures taken and reading the impressive array of quotations that are inscribed on the statue and the approach. I liked this picture because it showed the Washington Monument in the distance.
