Rocky Mountains

Rather than driving straight from Cheyenne to Denver, I decided to take a side trip to Rocky Mountain National Park. What I didn't realize was that U.S. 34 is a winding, crazy canyon road, and the trip to Estes Park was much more than a "quick" detour. I stopped at the park visitor center and took a picture, and then followed Colorado Highway 7 out of the area. It makes me glad I picked up the road map!
