The Strip

Las Vegas; July 20, 2004: I arrived in Las Vegas on a Tuesday mid-afternoon, and the temperature was in the upper 100-degree range. Eventually I decided to take a walk south along the famous Strip, and got a taste for the Vegas night life. This is the view from my hotel room on my first evening in town.
