Mississippi View

After a fairly steep ascent starting from the park's visitor center, I found myself on top of the cliffs on the Iowa side of the Mississippi River. This photo was taken near the Eagle Rock viewpoint, and shows the Mississippi River, the railroad tracks that run next to the river, Iowa Highway 76, and, in the far distance, the U.S. Highway 18 bridge that connects Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin, to Iowa.
