Iowa Wayside
About midway between Des Moines and Council Bluffs, Iowa, is a wayside on I-80 where you
can buy a Coke and get out of the car. I stopped here for about 15 minutes to rest after
driving for several hours. Unfortunately the 95-degree weather wasn't that comfortable,
but it was at least nice to get out of the car.
