Downtown Omaha

This is a view from the eighth floor of the Doubletree Hotel in downtown Omaha, Nebraska, on July 18, 2002. The downtown area seemed to be under construction, and the local rags alluded to a major shift in emphasis from Omaha to Council Bluffs, Iowa, which is just across the Missouri River.
