Porcupine

Pukaskwa National Park, May 21: This porcupine--the black blob in the center of the photo--had way too much character for his own good. On our way into the park he was on one side of the road, and on our way out he was on the other, just happily browsing on the plants. He didn't seem to mind our car at all, and when we got out to take his picture (from a safe distance), he ignored us.
