The Hated Tower

Prague; Monday, June 19, 2006: The Zikzov TV tower, started under the communist government, is one of the most hated buildings in Prague. Our guide explained that it ruined the skyline, and it's so tall you can't even get a good view of the city from the top because it's too far away. Nowadays, it does serve as a transmission tower, but it also has restaurants with views of the city. In about the middle of the picture, the two dark towers of the church of Our Lady of Tyn are visible.
