Burghers at the Archives

Wednesday, March 5, 2008: Here is bronze casting of Rodin's Burghers of Calais, made in 1953-1959 and located in the Hirshhorn Sculpture Garden. In the background is the National Archives, home of such documents as the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. Soon a copy of the Magna Carta will also be located there.
