Berlin Wall

Washington, DC; March 6, 2011:  For the first time ever, I had a chance to visit the Newseum this year. Filled with exhibits exploring current events and the journalists who have covered the news, it's a large, open, modern type of structure housing many newsworthy artifcats. This is a piece of the Berlin Wall. On the back? Just stark, whitewashed concrete, so that the East Germans were more easily able to pick up people trying to flee.
