Telemark in the Spring

Near Cable, WI; May 7, 2012:  One nice thing about staying at Telemark is that there are a lot of ski trails that work as hiking trails during the snow-free months. This is a shot from near the top of Mount Telemark, with the lodge near the center. (I stayed in a villa building; the lodge was mostly closed.) It was a fun hike to the top of the ski hill, though I spent much of the rest of the day getting rid of the ticks that decided to attach themselves to my clothing and my skin.
