Rock Lake

Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest; May 10, 2012:  On an absolutely beautiful Thursday, I drove maybe five miles to the Rock Lake Trail, which is administered by the Forest Service within the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest. There was no one anywhere around, and I hiked from County Highway M to Rock Lake and back again. This is a view of Rock Lake, which is somewhat isolated.
