In the Cave

Pinnacles National Monument, December 30:  Spelunking at a national monument famous for its volcanic formations? You bet! One of the trails at Pinnacles National Monument goes through a cave. Because of the recent rainfall, the cave was very wet and slippery, and I wouldn't have even attempted it without a flashlight. While there wasn't a lot of time spent inside the cave, it was interesting and fun to go through the dark spaces with the sound of water running nearby.
