Everglades Pine Lands

Monday, April 26: For me, a Monday usually means cleaning up things that didn't go right at work during the weekend. But, this particular Monday involved a trip to Everglades National Park. This is a picture from the Pine Lands area of the park, showing the mixture of pine trees and palmettos--something very foreign to someone used to the glaciated and driftless areas of Wisconsin!
