Monuments

March 1, 2005: Seeing the monuments of Washington across the reflecting pool from the Lincoln Memorial is always quite a sight. Here, the Washington Monument and Capitol are near the center of the photo. The pillars to the left and right at ground level are the World War II Memorial, and the faint gray reflections are on the water of the reflecting pool.
