Concorde

March 2, 2005: Less than five years ago, you could still take a Concorde flight if you had the money. Now, the Concorde is grounded, but one of them lives in the hangar at the Udvar-Hazy Center. This is the nose of the airplane, as viewed from above. Surprisingly, the Concorde is not a particularly large airplane--even though the price tag to fly on the Concorde in its day more than made up for the size of the plane.
