Nooksack Falls

September 17, 2007; Mount Baker - Snoqualmie National Forest, Washington: On a rather cool Monday I headed to the Mount Baker area of the Snoqualmie National Forest, located outside of Bellingham. After getting some directions from the visitor center in Glacier, I headed up the Mount Baker highway, making my first stop at Nooksack Falls. Shown here is about the best picture I could get--there was a lot of signage in the area indicating that taking better pictures would be at risk of life and limb, and in fact there was a long list of people who died trying to get a better look.
