Big Bay State Park

September 12, 2007; Big Bay State Park, Madeline Island, Wisconsin: It had been a few years since I'd visited Madeline Island, and one of the best things to do there is visit Big Bay State Park. The previous couple of times I'd been there, I was always killed by mosquitoes and biting flies, but on this particular September day, the temperature never went above 60 degrees and the air was crisp and clean. Here's a picture from the Point Trail, which starts about 0.2 miles from the entrance station.
