Walnut Canyon National Monument; November 29, 2011:  I returned to Walnut Canyon after my stop at Sunset Crater, and one of the interesting things about this settlement is that it occurred after the volcanic eruption at Sunset Crater. People didn't live at Walnut Canyon for thousands of years; it was only a brief time where people were here.
