High-Speed Bus

St. Thomas, USVI; October 26, 2011:  Michael was a bit tired out from his excursion in St. Maarten, so he stayed on the ship while Lisa and I went on a "beach break." Normally I wouldn't seek out the beach, but there was something appealing about spending a day not really doing anything. Despite the promise of relaxation, though, the trip was completely insane--the open-sided trucks that were outfitted like buses drove at crazy speeds up mountain switchbacks.
