Leech Lake Brewery

Walker, MN; April 26, 2011:  Because Leech Lake Brewing opens their tap room on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, I thought a somewhat dreary Tuesday afternoon would be a good excuse for the 40-mile trip to Walker, MN. Greg and Gina Smith started brewing at Leech Lake in September 2010, and it's currently a two-person operation. My favorites were Loch Leech Monster, a Scottish Ale; their unfiltered 47° North IPA; and their very smooth 3 Sheets Imperial IPA.
