Pither's Point

Fort Frances, Ontario; April 28, 2011:  I headed into Canada to see if there was anything interesting in Fort Frances, and what I discovered was that it was a pretty sleepy paper mill town. I took this picture of Rainy Lake from Pither's Point, had lunch, and visited the Fort Frances museum. Then I headed back to the United States. Not the most exciting trip to Canada ever undertaken, although the fried walleye lunch in the Lighthouse Cafe was tasty, and the museum was very nice for a small city of only about 9,000.
