Snowy Sand Dunes

Whitefish Dunes State Park; April 16, 2013:  One of the main reasons Whitefish Dunes State Park exists is to protect the dune habitat on Lake Michigan; and to prevent erosion, the dunes are closed to all uses. However, there are also boardwalks so you can explore the top of some of the dunes, including Old Baldy, where I had lunch.
