Horseshoe Island

Peninsula State Park; April 20, 2013:  A good portion of my hike was on a park road that followed the shoreline; that made for a very fast hike, and I also encountered plenty of folks who were out enjoying the strange combination of comfortable temperatures with a cold wind blowing off the ice. Here is Horseshoe Island, stuck in the melting ice of Green Bay.
