Two Ships

Sault Ste Marie, May 23: Friday was a big day for shipping on the St. Mary's river, and as we took our tour of the locks on the Soo Locks Boat Tours (which leaves from the Michigan side of the river), we saw two 1,000-foot carriers passing each other, with the Edwin Gott on its way to Lake Superior and the Walter McCarthy on its way out of the locks on its way to Lake Huron.
