Precipice

Near Grand Marais, May 18: This is me, hanging out near another waterfall on the Cascade River. At this point, the river narrows and speeds up to crash more than 10 feet below. The rocks in this area are so steep that it's virtually impossible to see the entire falls unless you lean over the cliff--which I wasn't willing to do.
