Fossil Trail

Badlands National Park: There are numerous fossils that can be found in Badlands National Park--but no dinosaurs. That's because the Badlands was underwater during the time of the dinosaurs. On the Fossil Trail, an easy quarter-mile loop, there are various cases with fossils in them, as well as a great view of the surrounding "castles" in the Badlands.
